Ohio’s Farm Bureaus president says this year’s apple harvest is turning out better than anticipated.
Bill Patterson operates an agritourism venue in Northeast Ohio.
“The crop came in a little on the light side as far as apples, there was some freeze in April, but we’ve very excited to see it’s actually picking out a lot better,” he says.
The seven-week season for his U-Pick is in full swing and Patterson tells Brownfield some of the added demand from the pandemic last year is carrying over.
