A climatologist says some Missouri farmers will likely see more rainfall ahead of the weekend, continuing to slow harvest.

Pat Guinan is with the University of Missouri.

“We needed the rain, but it’s also been quite challenging for producers to get into the field and finish harvest…,” he said. “That’s mostly impacting the southeastern half of the state.”

But he said farmers north of Interstate 70 might have a harvest window.
