Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says she’ll continue to prioritize funding for projects to help expand rural broadband for the state’s ag producers. “We’re making huge strides,” Kelly says. “We have more connectivity now than we could ever have imagined in this short time in office and we’re going to continue to do that.”
She tells Brownfield for the first-time last year, the state used general funds to expand the service through the Comprehensive Transportation Plan and used money from the CARES Act.
