USDA’s Rural Development office has recently announced investments totaling more than $18 million in Missouri water infrastructure.
David Cheek with USDA said the largest project, an additional $15 million to construct a regional water distribution system in northwest Missouri, will supply drinking water to the St. Joseph area.
“Once completed, the project will serve a little bit more than 11,000 rural Missourians in the cities of Cameron and Maysville,” Cheek said.
