Several Republican Senators are asking Unilever to reverse an anti-Israel business decision. In a letter to Unilever’s CEO Alan Jope, the Senators say the decision by Ben & Jerry’s to terminate its Israeli licensee next year is a misguided decision made to advance the Boycott, Divest, and Sanction movement against Israel.
Ben & Jerry’s officials demanded its licensee stop selling products in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, a move the Senators say would violate Israeli law.
