Mother Nature is delaying the end of harvest for South-Central Nebraska grower Randy Uhrmacher.
“This wouldn’t take us long to get it knocked out, but today we’re sitting here under a rain delay.”
Much of Nebraska has received anywhere from a half-inch to four inches of rain since Sunday and more moisture is forecast through Wednesday night.
He tells Brownfield he received a half-inch of rain Tuesday night with more expected and it’s delayed wrapping up harvest for a bumper crop.
