USDA on Wednesday awarded nearly $25 million for stress assistance grants across the country.

Fifty grants will support the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network State Department of Agriculture project. 

Funded projects either initiate, expand, or sustain programs that provide professional agricultural behavioral health counseling and referrals for other forms of assistance such as financial or legal services.

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin were also among the states awarded.
