A biofuels group is pleased to see the Democrats include a billion dollars for biofuel infrastructure investments in the proposed Build Back Better reconciliation framework.
Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor says these dollars are a welcome acknowledgment from this administration that access to higher blends of biofuels at the pump makes a real difference in decarbonizing transportation.
Skor says allowing American drivers to fill up with E15 is crucial to achieving clean energy goals and would reduce CO2 emissions by more than 17.62 million tons – the equivalent of taking 3.85 million cars off the road each year.
