An ag meteorologist says the start of November will offer a window for farmers to finish harvest.
Brownfield’s Greg Soulje says frosts and freeze events have been two to three weeks behind normal and while in the forecast, conditions will be dry.
“Into the first half at least of the month of November so there should be some good gains and resumption if not completion to harvest,” he says.
For the last half of November Soulje says wet weather is likely the Plains and Cornbelt.
