The Illinois Department of Agriculture hosted its annual Illinois Grain Tour last month resulting in more than $12.4 million in projected sales.
IDOA Bureau Chief of Marketing Jackie Sambursky tells Brownfield this is the second year the event was held virtually because of international travel restrictions tied to the pandemic.
“We saw an increase in sales of more than $4 million from last year and we had 143 participants from five Latin American countries.
