Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed lower Friday as lower cash cheese markets weighed on prices.
November Class III milk nine cents lower at $17.81. December down 22 cents at $17.59. January down 11 cents at $17.96. February nine cents lower at $18.23. March through May contracts eight cents lower to seven cents higher.
Dry whey up $0.0050 at $0.66.
Blocks down $0.02 at $1.5850. Two trades were made at $1.58 and $1.5850.
