Missouri Soybean Director of Biofuels and New Uses Matt Amick says that the recent application of soy-based asphalt sealant RePlay™ at the Center for Soy Innovation will extend the longevity of the center’s parking lot. This 88% biobased and sustainable sealant has the ability to extend the life of road surfaces, and provides another talking point for the many uses of soy. RePlay™ has been applied in multiple test locations, including the Bay Farm Research Facility and MU Delta Center; a pilot project with MoDOT is also in the works.
