The unusually warm and dry start to November has allowed Wisconsin’s farmers to make good progress in the fields. USDA reporters say most of the harvest is complete, with hay and silage and the specialty crops wrapped up. As of Sunday, USDA says 76% of the state’s corn for grain is harvested and 93% of Wisconsin’s soybeans are harvested.
Ninety-two percent of the winter wheat has now emerged, with 80% of the crop rated as good to excellent.
