Southern Indiana farmer Ben Kron says he’s pleased with corn yields as harvest is winding down.

“We have had really good crops in this area,” he says. “Corn yields are record yields—probably the best we’ve ever had.”

Kron tells Brownfield high yields are limiting storage.

“That turned into storage issues but that’s a problem we’re not mad to deal with,” he says.

As for soybean yields, he says, “I wouldn’t say they are record yields but they’re definitely well above average.
