Missouri’s Ag Director says a new state-of-the-art beef processing plant coming to the state will add much-needed value to Missouri farms and ranches. Chris Chinn tells Brownfield Ag News, “This is not just going to help the livestock industry but also our grain farmers as well because the more cattle that are fed out in Missouri, the more feed that will be consumed in the state.”
Chinn says many small meat processors have struggled to add value, “And this is going to be an opportunity if they choose to take it to add more value to their farm.
