The Michigan Department of Agriculture says the state’s carrot producers will have an opportunity to vote on proposed amendments to the state’s carrot industry development program.
The referendum will take place between December 6th and the 17th. Ballots will be mailed to carrot producers November 29th.
Producers submitted amendments to the department in September allowing people involved in allied industries to serve on their committee, along with other changes.
