The U.S. Trade Representative and her counterpart from India identified joint trade goals during meetings this week. Katherine Tai says both sides recognized the importance of engaging in discussion on a full range of existing and emerging issues affecting their trade relationship.
During this week’s ministerial-level meetings, the U.S. and India made progress on a work plan to allow pomegranate exports from India to the U.S., and phytosanitary certification allowing U.S. alfalfa hay for animal feed into India.
