The National Corn Growers Association and other ag groups are asking Mosaic company to withdraw their petition that led to tariffs on Moroccan, and later, Russian fertilizer imports, as the U.S. Court of International Trade this week said it would review an amicus brief submitted by the groups.
NCGA president Chris Edgington says executives at Mosaic can remove “this financial burden” (for farmers) by withdrawing the petition to put tariffs of more than 19% on Moroccan phosphate imports.
