American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall says while the Growing Climate Solutions Act might have been the most bipartisan supported piece of legislation this year, it’s unlikely to be passed.
“We will just have to see where they focus their time. I think they are going to spend most of their time on Build Back Better.”
Farm Bureau was part of founding efforts to create the Food and Agriculture Climate Alliance taking a lead on the climate conversation. Duvall expects momentum spurred by the alliance to continue.
