Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is investing $100 million to improve water infrastructure and water quality across the state.
Reynolds introduced a new grant program Wednesday that will allocate $75 million for the Water Infrastructure Fund, and an additional $25 million will be allocated to the Conservation Infrastructure Project at the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
Iowa Ag Secretary Mike Naig (negg) says the resources will help build on momentum already achieved to help more farmers and landowners implement proven conservation practices.
