Direct cash cattle trade is underway.  Light business has been reported in Nebraska at $218 dressed, $2 lower than last week’s business.  The rest of cattle country is quiet. Asking prices are firm $140 plus live in the South and $222 plus dressed in the North.  There was some very light business reported on Tuesday at $138 live in the South and $220 dressed in the North.  Significant trade volume will likely develop over the balance of the week.
