Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange posted lower Thursday as did most cash markets.

December Class III milk down eight cents at $18.49. January 19 cents lower at $19.61. February unchanged at $19.94. March two cents higher at $19.85. April through June unchanged to five cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.7125.

Blocks down $0.0225 at $1.9250. One sale was made at that price.

Barrels down $0.01 at $1.6450.
