A departing storm system currently crossing southeastern Canada will have diminishing impacts across the Midwest. However, the storm’s trailing cold front has stalled across the mid-South and the Ohio Valley, where 3-day rainfall totals could reach 1 to 3 inches. Meanwhile, a series of Pacific storms will continue to affect the West. During the next 5 days, the most significant Western precipitation will fall across northern California and the Pacific Northwest, although the northern Rockies, northern Great Basin, and northern Inter-mountain West will also receive some rain and snow.
