An ag based panel of land grant university leaders has begun meeting to better coordinate ag research, education and extension.
The of ag leaders panel, created by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine through USDA’s appropriations bill, is meant to find solutions to agriculture related challenges, like feeding the growing global population and increasing sustainability. University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Ronnie Green, who sits on the panel, tells Brownfield he has no doubt ag producers will meet those challenges.
