The American Soybean Association elected new farmer leaders during their annual meeting in St. Louis earlier this month.

Brad Doyle of Arkansas was elected President and Daryl Cates of Illinois was elected vice president for 2022. Cates tells Brownfield one of their top priorities will be working on the farm bill.

“We will start on listening sessions with soy leaders and farmers the first week of January and we will work through that throughout the year.”

He says the association is headed into 2022 with a great team dynamic.
