Pork producers are encouraged to participate in a new checkoff-funded program designed to help build consumer trust.
Minnesota Pork director of marketing and public policy engagement Lauren Servick tells Brownfield the National Pork Board’s On-Farm Sustainability Reports highlight modern practices that demonstrate continuous improvement.
“We’ve often said farmers are always striving for continuous improvement, and these On-Farm Sustainability Reports are our proof point in that.”
She says the unique data of each farm will be aggregated into a national report.
