Farmers are concerned about the availability of ag inputs, according to the latest Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer.

Jim Mintert is the director of the Purdue Center for Commercial Agriculture.

“We asked farmers if they experienced difficulty in making crop input purchases for the 2022 season, and roughly four out of ten, 39 percent, of people in the survey said they did have some difficulty,” he says.

He tells Brownfield farmers were asked which inputs they had trouble purchasing.
