The USDA says that as of the week ending January 13th, export inspections for corn, soybeans, and wheat remain behind what’s needed to meet projections for the current marketing year. The 2021/22 marketing year started June 1st, 2021 for wheat and September 1st, 2021 for corn, sorghum, and soybeans. The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out February 9th.
Wheat came out at 369,188 tons, up 134,832 from the week ending January 6th and 85,338 from the week ending January 14th, 2021.
