An East Central Kansas farmer says trade relationships with other countries should be a priority for the Biden administration in 2022.
“We’re raising all of these crops and (we) need a place to go with them.”
Brandon Litch, who has a diversified crop and livestock operation near Melvern, tells Brownfield the Biden administration needs to continue to hold China accountable for export purchases. “I think they’re on the right foot, trying to get in with China and trying to get a trade deal and just make sure China goes ahead and comes through with what they said they were going to do.”
And, he says the administration needs to find new markets in places like the U.K.
