Missouri Governor Mike Parson stressed the need for the state legislature to support agriculture during his State of the State Address Wednesday.
Parson said reinstating Missouri Agriculture and Small Business Development Authority tax credits is needed to keep the state’s top industry strong.
“We must prioritize the extension of critical agriculture tax credits that support Missouri farmers and ranchers, ag businesses, and value-added products,” Parson said.
He is also calling for $10 million to expand ag innovation and workforce development.
