A Nebraska farmer says Right to Repair should be a priority for all producers because the cost of fixing farm equipment is growing ‘astronomically.’
Doug Bartek tells Brownfield the companies hold proprietary technology and the cost to replace it is being unfairly passed on to farmers. “At the end of the day, I feel like Deere and Case IH and all these big guys still hold the final card and we can only go so far and that’s it.”
Bartek says an easy solution doesn’t exist.
