The chairman of the U.S. Grains Council says China must be held accountable on its Phase One trade commitments.
Chad Willis, a corn and soybean farmer from Wilmar in west-central Minnesota, tells Brownfield the Chinese need to live up to their agreements.
“DDG’s and ethanol would be a good fit to help (China) achieve their volumes of products they were supposed to take in Phase One, before we even worry about Phase Two.”
He describes the Biden administration’s approach to trade policy as “tight-lipped.”
“And I suppose with China, that’s the way you want to be.
