Optimism continues for milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange which began the week higher as did cash trade.

February Class III milk was up 16 cents at $20.35. March 43 cents higher at $21.81. April up 35 cents at $21.85. May 16 cents higher at $21.61. June through August eight to 22 cents higher.

Dry whey up $0.01 at $0.85. One sale was made at that price.

Blocks up $0.04 at $1.83.
