A southeastern Indiana farmer says he’s hopeful for the upcoming growing season despite high input prices.
Mike Koehne says “with the higher inputs it’s going to be a little tough, but I think in the long run if we can keep the higher commodity prices going we’ll be okay.”
Koehne says he isn’t planning to change his planting intentions.
“We’re on a 50/50 rotation. We grow a lot of specialty crops.
