More U.S. soybeans were crushed during December 2021 than any other month on record.
The USDA says 198 million bushels of beans were crushed last December, up 7 million from November and 5 million from December 2020.
The previous record was set in October 2021.
Crush margins are strong due to tight interior soybean supplies, along with solid food and fuel demand for vegetable oils and the growing likelihood of increased exports of U.S.
