At Tuesday’s meeting, the Marshall County Supervisors approved a five percent pay raise for all elected county officials, with the exception of the supervisors themselves, which will receive a three percent pay raise for the fiscal year beginning on July 1st.
The Marshall County Compensation Board had initially recommended a six percent across the board pay increase for elected county officials before the matter was brought before the county supervisors board for final action at their regular meeting on Tuesday.
At Tuesday’s meeting, the county supervisors also approved some recommended changes to a contract currently in place with OPN Architects for renovation work taking place at the county courthouse and annex building.
The county board also set a March 1st hearing date on the county’s proposed property tax levy and the proposed 2021-22 Marshall County decrease in appropriations.
