The head of the USDA Foreign Ag Service says criticism that the Biden administration is hurting agriculture by not doing enough on new trade deals is a false narrative.
Administrator Daniel Whitley tells Brownfield it’s not an accurate assessment because U.S. ag exports are about to shatter the previous record, “Because with only 11 months of data in we’ve already beat the previous record. We’re at one-hundred-60-and-a-half Billion dollars in U.S. ag exports – 160.5 through November.”
He says December ag exports released next week are expected to push that number to $175 to $178-Billion.
