A Western Corn Belt farmer says EPA’s restrictions on Enlist products creates additional burdens for growers.

Clay Govier grows a variety of crops near the Central Nebraska town of Broken Bow and says some producers are left with few alternatives. “It raises a really big question mark, right? Right when you’re trying to make some pretty significant decisions for your operation. It’s one of those decisions and regulations that doesn’t make any sense.”

The labels prohibit the use of Enlist Duo in 217 counties in 21 states and prohibit the use of Enlist One in 169 counties in 14 states for seven years to protect endangered species, pollinators and habitats and limit drift.
