Another light round of direct cash cattle trade is underway.  Deals are at $143 live in Iowa and $139 live in the South, steady with the week’s previous business. Dressed deals at $225 to $227, well above last week’s weighted averages.  Asking prices are firm at $140 to $141 live in the South and $227 dressed in the North. There was a light live trade that took place in the South on Tuesday at $139, $1 higher than the bulk of last week’s business.
