Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- or above-normal temperatures across most of the country. Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to the nation’s northern tier from the Pacific Northwest to Lake Superior.
Meanwhile, drier-than-normal weather should be limited to an area stretching from California and the Great Basin to the Four Corners region.
