Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week lower pressured by a surge in grain prices while cash trade was mixed.
April Class III milk was down three cents at $24.30. May 33 cents lower at $25.13. June down six cents at $25.25. July 13 cents lower at $24.86. August through to October 18 cents lower to unchanged.
Dry whey up $0.0050 at $0.64. One sale was made at that price.
