A farmer in southern Iowa is concerned about a shrinking window to spray for weeds.

“I think the pressure is going to be on herbicide application just because of how many windy days we’re having. I think that’s going to be a challenge going forward because obviously we can keep planting but the sprayers are definitely going to be behind.”
He tells Brownfield conditions are ripe for weed growth and certain herbicides aren’t readily available.
