Another light round of direct cash cattle trade is underway.  Live deals are at $140 in the South, generally steady with Tuesday’s business.  Trade volumes are a little light and more business is expected to develop over the balance of the week.  There’s also some light live trade reported in Nebraska at $144.  Bids are at $144 live and $227 to $230 dressed with asking prices at $140 plus live in the South and $232-plus dressed in the North.
