Missouri’s planting and crop progress slowed last week with limited days open for field work.

USDA says 91 percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, about even with last year and the average. Corn emergence is still behind at 76 percent.

Fifty-two percent of Missouri’s soybean crop is planted, passing last year and the average.

Missouri cotton planting is three percent behind last year at 93 percent planted.
