Hello everyone! My name is Sophia Stockman and I am excited to be starting my summer as an intern at Brownfield.
I was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. As a fifth-generation cattle farmer, I grew up surrounded by agriculture and all that comes with it. My family owns roughly 400 acres, where we raise Angus beef cattle. After becoming somewhat of a self-proclaimed cowgirl, I began riding horses when I was eight, which furthered my passion for animals and strengthened my love for hard work and getting my hands dirty.
Throughout grade school, high school, and college I rode horses competitively, riding hunt seat, western pleasure, horsemanship, and experimented with jumping; all of which led me to the Varsity Equestrian Team at Missouri State University.
