U.S. ethanol shipments surged during April.
The Renewable Fuels Association says April exports were a four-year high and the third largest monthly volume on record at 185.2 million gallons, an increase of 48% from March. Canada was the top destination for the thirteenth month in a row, followed by Brazil, South Korea, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
Exports of distillers dried grains with solubles were a fourteen-month low at 813,749 tons, a decrease of 12% on the month.
