Missouri’s crop progress picked up the pace last week.
USDA says nearly all the state’s corn has emerged. The crop’s rating dropped some to 70 percent good to excellent.
Eighty-five percent of Missouri’s soybean crop is planted, even with the average. Soybean emergence is 69 percent and the crop’s rating dropped slightly to 60 percent good to excellent.
Missouri cotton squaring is progressing slowly at six percent.
Rice is rated 67 percent good to excellent.
