U.S. Representative Cindy Axne of Iowa says risk management is a top priority for farmers in the 2023 farm bill.
“As we continue to see so many disasters, as we try to keep avian flu from getting any worse here, and obviously keeping (African) swine fever away from our doors here in Iowa,” Axne said.
She tells Brownfield farmers also expressed concern during a recent public listening session about crop insurance.
