All of South Dakota’s crops have emerged.
The USDA on Monday said the state’s corn is rated 75 percent good to excellent, while soybeans are at 70 percent. Soybeans were 10 percent blooming last week, behind 18 percent last year and 16 percent for the five-year average.
The state’s winter wheat crop is rated 47 percent good to excellent, and spring wheat is at 68 percent. The crop is 64 percent headed, behind 83 percent last year.
