Four dairy farms are among seven businesses winning the 2022 U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards.
The awards for Outstanding Dairy Farm Sustainability were earned by Deer Run Dairy of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, Grayhouse Farms Inc. of Stony Point, North Carolina, Steve and Cheryl Schlangen Dairy Farm of Albany, Minnesota, and Bar 20 of Kerman, California. All of the farms have taken steps to implement economically viable and environmentally sound practices ranging from capturing methane to better water use.
